  The apartment was the perfect size for a couple with extra pull out beds for a family group. Excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities and lots of storage. Balcony was really nice to have although more use in the summer! Great traditional pub on the corner opposite - cheap beer and friendly environment for a nigh - The apartment was pretty big and well equipped with everything you need for a few days. We enjoyed the BluRay Player! The restaurant is great for breakfast/dinner, with very tasty and modern cuisine. The apartment is in a good location, between PrenzlauerBerg and Mitte. The U-Bahn and StrassenBahn (BernauerStrasse) are just a few minutes walking from the apartment. You can go walking to the city centre (Mitte). In 20 minutes you are in Alexander Platz.   Location was great being close to the underground. We were given clear instructions on how to find the apartment and directions from airport. Apartment was clean, spacious and as described on the website. Friendly staff. We had a maintenance issue and the staff dealt with it promptly. These apartments are managed through the nearby Raja Jooseppi Cafe and, despite first appearances, this was in fact a lovely little cafe with very friendly staff and some of the best coffee in Berlin. The menu was limited but the food excellent.

  The apartment owner was easy to contact and very helpful. You could see part of the Berlin Wall from the bedroom windows. Good location for transport links as near tube station and tram stop. Free wifi. Quiet location. - Very close to center.

  We booked two appartments and both were very well equiped, clean and large enough for young people to hang out. I recommend this accommodation a lot. The staff was friendly. Prepare 10€ for deposit for a key and be aware of the fact that you will not be able to smoke neither in the room nor in the yard. But that does not matter so much. Excellent place to stay while in Berlin. - I stay there 12 nights and I feel very comfortable with excellent staffs, excellent location and one organic shop downstairs where is offering warm healthy fresh and delicious cooking food.   If you want a clean modern room on a budget it was very good although if you are looking for a social aspect wouldn't recommend. - Good location, walking distance to Alexanderplatz, Museum Insel, etc also U-Bahn station Bernauerstrasse. Room was not overlooking street, so in a quiet position looking onto a small, albeit scruffy, garden/courtyard.

  We stayed in penthouse 16: spacious, luxurious penthouse designed with a personal touch and with all comfort one can wish on a city trip. Great view over Berlin and the Fernsehturm.(You must almost force yourself to leave the place to visit the city.) Facilities are nearby in the friendly and trendy neighbourhood. Vackert område med perfekt läge några få tunnelbanestationer från alla Berlins sevärdheter.   I do not normally blog about hotels. But Matiss was a superb host, the apartment was clean, stunning, secure (4 bolted doors to access), a gorgeous little courtyard. It was basic, but at £50 a day for your own place what do you expect, had a small kitchen, bathroom, when we ran out of linen (wet towels) Matiss dropped more. 2 stops from the centra... vad folk säger » l Alexander Platz, and a few mins walk from the nearest tube station. Fantastic. Matiss was always at the end of the phone to help, top guy and top tr - The apartment was clean, tidy, newly renovated, ver well designed, in short, the reality totally reflected the photos on the web-site. THe room smelled fresh, neat and tidy, the location was also very good, close to UBahn, with a supermarket in 2mins walk. The apartment had a tiny kitchen for cooking, which I never used, but if you are travelling with friends, it may come handy. The yard is closed, so it is really very safe and very quiet.
