  The professional people who man the reception desk are great.   The hotel is absolutely beautifully designed. Each room is unique and has genuinely artistic touches (high ceilings, interesting but not garish paint colors, attractive furnishings). The location is perfect: in a very accessible and young neighborhood, with a thousand restaurants, bars, bakeries in walking distance and multiple public transport op... vad folk säger » tions. Although the rooms face a fairly busy street, the windows very effectively reduce noise. The cafe offers phenomenal coffee and breakfasts, and - I liked the fabulous, outstanding and absolutely unique design of the place, the rooms and the interiors. For a fashion and design loving person like me - this was amazing to see with how much creativity and love the rooms are designed. A concept that I have not seen anywhere else and it should clearly be in architecture and design magazines.   The apartment was very nice, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed, although a small microwave oven would have been nice. Also, the manager checked us in late in the evening, and he was very friendly and helpful about how to get around Berlin to see the sites. - Good organised. Good place for a cheap stay.

  If you want a clean modern room on a budget it was very good although if you are looking for a social aspect wouldn't recommend. - Good location, walking distance to Alexanderplatz, Museum Insel, etc also U-Bahn station Bernauerstrasse. Room was not overlooking street, so in a quiet position looking onto a small, albeit scruffy, garden/courtyard.

  Location is good, 5-7min to the nearest S-ban and U-ban station, 3-4 stops to the city center. Owner Marc was very helpfull. We arrived early in the morning, at 8:00AM, but Mark helped us and provided luggage room without checking. Even on the Easter eve, Mark made time and helped us with connecting to internet, also explained about nearby station... vad folk säger » s and markets. We felt homey in the apartments, there was no lack of anything, everything worked, rooms was clean and tidy, service was excellent. We - We cannot recommend these apartments enough! Great location, great facilities and great staff! The apartment was really spacious and ideally located near two metro stations on the main line running through the city. The apartments manager Marc was really helpful and friendly and actually recomended a Vietnamese restaurant right by the apartment where we had one of the best meals of the trip! If we visit Berlin again we will definitely try to stay in Apartments City-Room Berlin next time.
