  The professional people who man the reception desk are great.   The apartment was very nice, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed, although a small microwave oven would have been nice. Also, the manager checked us in late in the evening, and he was very friendly and helpful about how to get around Berlin to see the sites. - Good organised. Good place for a cheap stay.

The bus stop was only a 1 minute walk, plenty of restaurants to choose from, an Aldi and bakery across the street.   Pfefferbett is a really cool hostel that's been recently renovated. It's modern and clean and has a range of excellent facilities. Luggage storage is handy and the buffet breakfast for €6.50 is great value and has good variety. Room with private bathroom was really nice and very clean. The neighbourhood is really nice, with many authentic German r... vad folk säger » estaurants and the hostel's location is excellent as it's right across the road from one of the metro stations, so you can easily get to and from the - Conveniently located at 2 mins walk from the tube station, and 40 mins overall from Schönefeld airport. 24h reception with really helpful staff. Fairly big secure locker included in the price, each bed has a light and electricity socket, my room had a private bathroom too even if not specified in the booking, not sure if all rooms have it.
