  The staff was very friendly and most helpful. My room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was an added bonus!   Very friendly and helpful staff, small and calm hotel in the near of Koeln Messe and -important- the Lanxess Arena. I stayed there because of the IIHF Icehockey World Championship in Germany and I have to say that I enjoyed the time absolutely.   You should be aware that this is not a hôtel and not Bed&Breakfast (as there is no breakfast), it's the appartement in the city house with 2 rooms and very small kitchen in one of the room. The situation of the appartement is in the center of the city, but with the view on some dirty areas of the Koeln.   It was really close to the Hauptbahnhof, so it helped us a lot, considering that we were carrying heavy bags.
