  Our room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. It had a large window with garden outlook but shaded from sun. There were two comfortable (but not easy) chairs. The bathroom had a spacious shower and was well lighted. The staff were more than helpful with good advice about a cozy restaurant and a pleasant weinstube in the vicinity. They know the city and were confident in giving directions or making recommendations of things to see. All staff members spoke English, which was very helpful.

  Staff were friendly enough. Rooms were very clean and very spacious, however we all got single beds-although I'm sure if we had asked we could have been moved to double rooms. Also, the hotel was right on the lake, just a few steps away from several lakeside restaurants (which had indoor and outdoor seating). We were also lucky to be in Germany for white asparagus season, so there was "Spargel" on every menu.
