  The room, although small, had everything you'd need to make yourself comfortable for a couple of nights. The bed was excellent and the room was clean. The bathroom is really tiny but well kept, it has a hairdryer and a comfortably sized shower cabin. Bathroom heating is also included, so if you plan to visit during the winter, this is a big plus. ... vad folk säger » All in all, we're very satisfied with our choice. - I thought the room was clean and a good value for the money. It was also centrally located but a bit hard to find.... google map did not match destination. It was nice to have the bar open and food available late evening if desired.

  We were in Europe for 3 weeks, and stayed in 7 different hotels. We decided upon our return that Mercure Hotel wins our award for THE BEST hotel we stayed in, even with all the construction. Located close enough to old town to walk, clean room and bathroom (loved having a tub), excellent friendly staff, and WONDERFUL breakfast! We loved it! - Ex... vad folk säger » celent.   We were staying in xl Art room overlooking the River Rhine. It was well worth the money, as we booked well in advance. Tram stop very close, easy to reach Koelnmesse, shopping area/centre only 15 min. On foot. Room size was great, and clean. Added bonus: coffee maker (tablet). If you need a taxi to the airport, just walk towards the Chocolate Muse... vad folk säger » um and across the road. Fare is approx 24-26 Euros to Cologne airport. - Most of the staff were very friendly&helpful. The room was superb, very spacious& the decor was very funky&modern, bed was lovely&comfortable.the location is great only a 5 min walk to the old town along the river with some great places to eat&enjoy a few drinks. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

  We arrived 3 hours prior to check in time, yet as the Apartment was ready, we were allowed take up occupancy straight away.We had our own entrance to the swimming pool which we used every day. The hotel staff could not have been more friendly or helpful than they were. Though we don't speak German, their English was so good that it was never a problem. I would highly recommend this hotel to others, especially because the location was also very good.

  Läget var mycket bra. Hotellet hade mycket trevliga rum, med helt underbara sängar. Trevlig relaxavdelning med bastu och pool. Fin frukost - Personalen vänlig och speciellt med tanke på vår son, 10 mån. Vi fick ett rum som låg tyst med tanke på karnevalen i Köln och de försökte fixa så vi skulle få vårt rum mkt tidigare så han kunde få sova middag.

  Läget. Servicen. Frukosten. - The best location in Cologne! The hotel is nearly brand new and i also love the breakfast! - This is a first class hotel with good facilities. The location is great, we had a view of the cathedral from our room window. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.
