They use the card system instead of keys. The card is also used in theelevator, gave a secure feeling - only hotel guests could use theelevators. All the staff spoke English and very friendly andaccommodating. 10 minute walk to the Metro. Gym: high standard. Staff always available to give advice about theatre performances, etc. Perfect location, just a stone's throw away from the Gendarmenmarkt, Potsdamer Platz, Alexanderplatz and Checkpoint Charlie.

Almost everything about this hotel is fantastic. Very smart rooms with
ultra modern decor. Bathroom open plan with room but toilet does have
sliding door for privacy. Shower is great with multiple modes and no
problems with going hot or cold. Bed is comfy with separate single
duvets. Duvets and pillows are down but not a problem for my feather

It would be impossible to list what I loved about the Axel; I've
searched to find something that could be improved, but the rooms, the
location, the decor, the dedication fo the regitry staff to help in
every way..are all outstanding. I had some shower problems with the
hotwater, and both times, the young man at the desk came almost
immediately to resolve the problem...and did so, graciously.and
efficiently. All three young men at the desk for the four days I was

Everything. The staff were so helpful. They upgraded our rooms to one bed apartments. Which were amazing with everything you could wish for in inc tv in both bed and lounge. The bar manager Andre even organised my 60th birthday! Organising champagne with strawberries when I came down from my room, a taxi for the 6 of us and a booking in a fab Ital

We loved the Adina, and will definitely try another of their hotels in other destinations. The room was really well laid out. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept on, and the bathroom was spacious. It was so easy to get to restaurants and places we wanted to visit. The staff were utterly charming and the check in and out were swiftly and efficiently dealt with. One of the best features was the bar. We gathered there every evening with our friends, and again after we had visited
