  The attention to detail was very obvious compared with other hotels, eg coffee maker, complimentary welcome gift of wine and snack, provision of books about Germany in all languages. Character of decor was consistent, staff was very helpful and we were greeted with a glass of champagne as we checked in. It's not far from the city center (it takes 7 minutes to get to Alexander Platz on foot), there is wi-fi in the lobby, rather good breakfast, though there is not big variety you can eat a toast, some cereals and drink a cup of coffee.   Our room was very spacious and had a brilliant bathroom and service area. It was comfortable and very well-appointed with decent armchairs, generous wardrobe space and an interesting design décor. The hotel facilities are excellent with the upper floor containing a breakfast area, lounge and bar.   My wife and I recently stayed here for the first week of our honeymoon, and we could not have picked a better spot to stay. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment that was larger than the place we live in normally(Quite a feat when staying in Europe). The place was nicely furnished, and we were amazed at how everything in the living room either recl... vad folk säger » ined or transformed into something comfy to lounge on. The kitchen was fully stocked, and they even made sure we had detergent to use for the dishwash - Our appartment was right beside the train station but the sound levels were not bothersome at all when the windows were closed. We were 10 minutes walk from all the museums, television tower, main shopping centres, etc. also every day bar Sunday there was a market on the street just outside the front door where you could pick up all types of local and Turkish food stuffs and snacks.   The apartment was exactly as it was presented in the pictures and as was described by the owner. It was very clean and very quiet (it is located in a big street but doesn't overlook it). The location is perfect, the tram is 20m away and the Bahn station is 5 minutes walking distance, while at the same time you have countless small restaurants, bar... vad folk säger » s and cafes right at your doorstep. The owner was very helpful, giving us instructions for everything we needed, from emailing transportation instruct - I'd say that everything is fine with this apartments (Karl Marx Allee 137). It's clean and quite cosy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and moreover there were some oil, tea bags, salt and sugar - it helps when you've just arrived :) Taxi driver lost in this district, he didn't know any word in English and Anne explained him by phone what's a place he needs to get to.
