  It was a very pleasant surprise to get an apartment like that. We had read good reviews, but still reality was better. Great location, metro and supermarket are just 2 minutes walk, bus stop is around the corner. Wonderfull automatic door to the stairwell. Our apartment was just two stores from the bureau. The apartment we got had 2 bedrooms, while we just needed 1, it was nice. Lots - The location is great-near Sony Center (Potsdamer Platz) and close to the U-bahn station. There is a free public parking in about 300 m. Many shops, pubs,doner kebabs, etc. in the neighborhood. Staff were very nice and helpful.

  The hotel is excellent in every hands. I am very satisfied with it. The only suggestion is that it could be even better if there is a hotel sign guiding to the guests in the street, since no hotel sign let people be very difficult (maybe impossible) to find the hotel.

  Don't let the slightly sketchy graffiti of Danziger Strasse discourage you from choosing this delightful apartment. The friendly neighbourhood is filled with street cafes and restaurants situated among newly renovated apartments with lots of trees and flowers. Food is superb as is people watching. We did cook one supper and local shopping in the converted beer factory "culture" sp - The apartment location is great. The neighborhood is so sweet, close to the metro, coffee places.   We loved the location. We stayed at the Lichener location and it was in the heart of a lot of action, but quiet due to the enclosed court yard. This is a newly established hotel and therefore has some growing pains, however all that is overcome by a Gracious host and owner Christine.   The staff were very, very nice and helpful. The fact that the reception is open 24h is really nice as well. I liked the room, which was very clean, and well planned so that the fact that it was quite small didn't really matter. The bathroom was very nice and clean. I liked to location as well, it's calm and quiet but close to areas which - The value for money at Hotel Johann is excellent, beautiful and spacious room with high ceilings, there is no air condition in the hotel but even during hot days, room remained cool.... Excellent breakfast with top quality products/ingredients! This was a 2nd stay at Hotel Johann and we will certainly come back.
