  Great place in a great area. This lovely hotel lies on top of a hill just in front of a beautiful lake from which is visible the famous castle of Neuschwenstein. It's a silent and pleasant area and if you are lucky to get a sunset, you can also get a lovely panoramic view from the balcony and you can even have a walk along the lake which is just 1... vad folk säger » 0 minutes distant by walk. Staff extremely kind, room little but comfortable and lovely. Would I come back to this hotel? Absolutely yes! I hope to do - Very nice breakfast and staff - they were very accomodating when our party ran into car trouble and got in very late to our hotel - beds were turned down and ready to be slept in! Location is good - very easy access to nice hiking and biking trails and the King's Castles - and we had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony window.

  New owner, Peter, very friendly and informed. Room was beautifully remodeled with fabulous view of Lake Hopfensee and mountains in background. Took dry sauna in lower level and other amenities are being developed for spa like experience there as well. Close location to castles and many good restaurants along Lake Hopfensee where could walk in ... vad folk säger » evening. Could also drive to another Ludwig castle, Linderhof, about an hour away. Breakfast at hotel was very, very good and lovely setting. Woul - Everything; wonderful accommodation with a terrific view, in a nice little village, just far enough from Fussen to be away from the crowds of tourists.Great restaurant right across the road for dinner, and a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful location at the hotel. Highly recommended.

  If you visit this place once it will stay long not only in your memory but deep in your heart. Fairy tail nature is added by very nice and friendly people who are living and coming there. Very nice comforta - Great hotel in a beautiful location, overlooking the lake! The room was lovely - beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Kitchenette in the apartment which was a bonus, including dishwasher. You get a "Fussen Card" during your stay, which gives you free public transport and a discount on your castle tickets. The hotel is easy to get to, a 5-10 min drive or 15min bus ride from Fussen. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel (Strandbad Hopfensee) where you can get bus 56 which comes eve

  This was the most comfortable hotel/BandB we stayed at during our 3 weeks of European travel in 4 different countries. Hotel Christine is immaculately clean and well provisioned. The staff was the friendliest and most helpful of any in Germany and Switzerland. The breakfast was amazing. We could not fault it .If we could give 11 out of 10 we would , as mentioned in the reviews the breakfast experience is to be believed .
