  Our room was on the 5th floor with a tiny balcony overlooking the Rhine, which was perfect for us to sit and watch the boats go by. The room was well equipped, very clean, with even a hospitality tray - rare outside the uk. There was also free WiFi which was a nice bonus. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was plentiful and in a pleasant room.... vad folk säger » One would not guess that the staff were still pumping water out of the cellar after the floods. We were lucky finding a parking place right outside t - We liked everything about the Hotel, owner and his team. Even though the Rhine had flooded the front of the Hotel and gardens it did not stop the Owner and the staff from running it well even though they were keeping back the Rhine . I should also mention that the owner speaks perfect english and had an interesting conversation with him covering various subjects in depth.   Everything was simple. Location was excellent, owner spoke English and was very friendly, bigger breakfast than other pensions I have stayed at.   The hotel is in a quiet location with its own car park, only one street away from the river and an easy walk into the centre of town. The owners were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They were genuinely interested in how our day had been and what we had done in Boppard. The breakfast was very nice. The mansion was very beautiful on the outside, on the outside it is quite old, but the bed are really comfortable, and nicelly arranged (it's like your grandmother's pension). Some rooms have a bathroom, some other don't and you have to use the common bathroom and toilets, but it is all very clean. The host can give you a lot of advices about things to do in Boppard and around. What you must not miss are the wonderful breakfasts : everything you need
