we loved the room. Although it was relatively small, the design and the use of space was excellant. There was air condition. The colors of the room were ellegant. Staff was friendly, polite and helpfull. The location was super! We were during a festival in mid. August and the location was far from the noise yet, close to all main attractions. We wished we stayed another night. Dresden is a beautiful city and very interesting to visit.The position of the hotel was excellent; near to the theatre, Zwinger,museums,river Elbe,shops,and much more.The staff were friendly and efficient.The breakfast was very good, with a huge choice of foods. No cooked English, but who needs it? The bathroom had a good shower, with warm water at all times.

This is a big, very modern hotel with excellent facilities. Car park is under the hotel which is a real convenience. It is right next to the major monument of Dresden, the fabulous Zwinger palace complex, so couldn't be more central. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast great. Perfect location. Perfect value for money. Parking underground. I would stay here again. This is my second experience with Motel One hotel's chain. Perfect chain, great quality. Great location!!! No closet or luggage rack. They give only one shower gel/shampoo (Not both : only one...) Rooms haven't telephone (but TV has alarm clock). did not notice. Nothing at all; a round 10 score (no, I don't get money from them :) ). missed a small refrigarator. Small room but manageable. no telephone for wake up call. Nothing!. We missed the soap from the bathroom!. a bit noisy with the trams passing by the hotel (windows isolate fairly well), the rooms are not very big. Room was small. Parking is not guaranteed. We had to leave our car in public parking place about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. bit too hot on the corridors, too small glass tables for breakfast, missing bottle of mineral water in the room ( suggestion ), missing wardrobe or closed desk or shelf,. Rooms a bit small - not enough room for two people wanting to stay a few days and unpack. The credit card payment process where they automatically turned the EUR into GBP and gave me a poor rate compared to my bank. Breakfast seemed mobbed - I went out.
