  The setting is lovely and the owners could not have been more welcoming. The studios are larger than I thought they would be and are very clean and well presented. The covered outside veranda is a nice addition with a lovely view down to the lake and over the surrounding countryside. The Dubois couple were extremely helpful and accommodating. The setting and view from the studio, was gorgeous. We really want to return here, hopefully for longer next time.

  Friendly staff. Excellent newly refurbished room with all facilities working - not always the case in France! Very good, reasonably priced dinner. - Cyclists welcome, secure area to leave bicycles. Of our 4 nights in the area this hotel had the most comfortable bed and super bathroom.

  The owner could not have been more helpful at this hotel. we were cycle touring with a tandem and the owner allowed us to suite the bike in a back room keeping it safe and off the street. the owner was very friendly and recommended a very nice restaurant. the room was basic but clean and the breakfast was also very nice. highly recommended. - Ve... vad folk säger » ronigue and JonMarc were so helpful during our three day stay. The bed was comfortable and room quiet. The continental breakfasts were excellent value with a variety of food on offer. We would definately stay there again.

  The breakfast was excellent but you have to pay extra for it (7 euros). It was easy to find and the staff were very helpful...they also spoke English. - Breakfast was great! There were two people out of the staff when we stayed there that spoke great english which was great. Especially one girl in paticular that really went out of her way to help... vad folk säger » us out. While we there our Navigation system needed to be charged so we explained and asked for help and one of the staff charged it for us and then the owner gave us a charger as a gift to us!

  The location was perfect - 2 minutes from Ferry but also walking distance to restaurants, town centre and marina to pass the evening nicely before our ferry the next day. Staff were very helpful - they keep a space free outside all the time for dropping off luggage, helpful is storing bulky bikes for us even after we checked out, excellent English... vad folk säger » . Basic accommodation, but very clean and fresh smelling with a lovely little courtyard in the middle, and fab rate of 88 euro for 4 of us. - The hotel was easy to find. The owner was welcoming, friendly, helpful. The rooms. though small, were clean and very pleasant.

  What a fantastic setting right by the seaside. Plenty of Restaurants in the area to accomodate all tastes. Easy to walk through Town. Friendly Staff.   I booked this hotel because I wanted to stay on Le Mont Saint Michel for the night and it was quite affordable. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant, even with a 2.5 power outage over most of Le Mont that evening. It made it feel even more authentic. I had one of the rooms up the street from the main hotel. Probably because it - It was interesting staying right on Mont St Michel and this hotel is a good value and very easy to find. They have a very nice restaurant however we did not eat there as it didn't open until 7:00 PM and we were tired and hungry before that. There are many eating options from sandwiches to high end restaurants. However, the inexpensive ones closed early (it is November). Don't expect a fancy room. The one we had (a triple) was a bit cramped but one on the floor below us seemed quite a bit b

The chateau itself is amazingly beautiful and breathtaking. Best price-quality ratio. I highly rec - Chateau du Rozel sits in a tiny village on a windswept peninsula. It feels like stepping back in time, staying in your own castle. Lovely grounds, hot water, updated bathrooms, fantastic breakfast with homemade jams from the garden. The nearby countryside & beaches were gorgeous. Staff has passable English skills. Best part of all: not touristy! Very authentic.

  Cherbourg is a quaint historic town. The hotel is on the waterfront with a scenic view. We were able to walk to the hotel from the ferry dock. The staff were very friendly and we stayed in an apartment suite with a kitchen and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Bathroom newly renovated and beautiful. Hotel is conveniently located close to main street where all the restaurants are within walki - This was our second stay at the Hotel Chantereyne and once again we couldn't fault it. The staff are helpful and welcoming and have good knowledge of the area. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spotless. We loved the modern bathroom and the superb shower. Also great location, just 5 minutes from the ferry port and the town. All in all a first class hotel.
