  An outstanding choice for a bed and breakfast location in Amboise in the Loire Valley. Excellent location close to the major walking street shops and excellent restaurants as well as the chateau and Clos de Luce -the Da Vinci house,Tastefully furnished and beautifully decorated comfortable accomodations and a magnificent walled garden and swimmin... vad folk säger » g pool. Excellent breakfast and a wonderful ambience throughout. However the most oustanding aspect of Au Charme Rabelaisien was our hostess Sylvie wh - This was a delightful B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was enormous. The bathroom was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have stayed in, with a large bath in which to luxuriate. We also enjoyed the town. Very relaxed and with many dining options to choose from. An ideal place as a base to explore the Loire Valley and it's many Chateaus. Our host Sylvie was a delight. Extremely helpful and obliging , with a wonderful bubbly personality. Would rate this as the best B & B we h

  Ett verkligt underbart ställe!! Vi hade bokat sviten som bara var så vackert och speciellt!! Ägaren var helt otroligt trevlig och hjälpsam. Frukosten var den bästa vi ätit i frankrike. Hembakat och hemlagat med väldigt mycke att välja på. Ekologiskt!! Vi satt vid långbord vilket medförde att vi fick trevliga samtal med övriga gäster. Vi älskar st... vad folk säger » ället och återkommer!! - This is a very special place. Sleeping in a well-appointed cave was unusual, charming, comfortable and (welcome during a heatwave) cool. Beautiful bijou-garden setting, with interior design reflecting artistic flair of Alain, the very obliging and helpful host, who also served a superb breakfast. We would have disliked carrying our bags back up to the car parking space higher up the cliff, had not the Alain volunteered to do it for us. Apparently he is planning to install a lift within the next - This place is amazing - the rooms are luxurious (we especially loved the Victoria room, with its massive bathroom and shower), Alain is the most genial and interesting host. Breakfast is full of homemade treats - and good coffee! This is essentially a family home/estate which has been lovingly restored. The area and the town of Azay-le-Rideau are very beautiful, and convenient for visting wine producers too.

  The room was spacious and clean. Staffs at the hotel the restaurant were very kind. All the concerns for our small boy (renting the arm tube for swimming and high chair for dinner & breakfast) made our vacation more comfortable. Swimming pool and wide garden was perfect for a family with a small child. We would like to come back for another re... vad folk säger » laxed vacation. - Room was well appointed and big and quiet. Breakfast was terrific and well worth the Money. The restaurante is excelente and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful countryside and about 10 minutes to Amboise

  Large clean room, friendly staff, good restaurant, easy access to/from motorway - The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was overpriced for what was available. The restaurant was clean and the food was basic and again we felt overpriced.
