  Nice room. Great breakfast. Superb location for road access and secure parking. Staff were first class. Did I mention the breakfast?? Top value for money. - I thought it was very good value and the welcome tray was very good

  on arrival the manager spoke to us in very good English and was fantastic, very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. The room and facilities were excellent, as was the weather. There are shops and fuel stations near by and some beautiful countryside within 2 minutes drive - Room a bit small but weell arranged, almost brand new.   I cannot praise this hotel highly enough. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful, the room well appointed if a bit on the small side, the hotel itself charming, and the food, though a trifle expensive, was amazing and beautifully served. Our dog was not only tolerated but allowed to feel equally at home in room, lounge and restaurant. The staff were attentive, friendly, helpful and spoke excellent english. Unfortunately I only had time to have 1 dinner at the restaurant and it was magnificent - worthy of the visit by itself. The breakfasts were sumptuous too, especially the option of a cooked breakfast rather than the staples of bread, meats and cheese.

It was very peaceful and quiet and great taste everywhere.

  A delightful experience all round. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. We had a garden view room which was wonderful with a comfy canopy bed. Yes it would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in room (see other reports), but it's available on room service and they were happy to provide us with a kettle. The restaurant is wonderful with a good menu... vad folk säger » and set in the large conservatory with adjoining terrace. The 'isolated location' mentioned by others is an asset. There are lovely countryside views - Just returned from a wonderful stay at this delightful Logis, located in beautiful countryside yet within ten minutes of towns and chateaux. The garden rooms are spacious and comfortable and the pool and tennis court immaculately maintained. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Excellent food is served in a very inviting room and I'm already looking forward to returning.
