  I expected less based on reviews (with all due respect to previous reviewers), but surprisingly staff was very service, polite and helpful, also room & bathroom were restored, neat and very clean.   The location of this hotel is perfect- next door to Gare Saint Lazare, which is a central metro/RER station. The location makes it very easy to get around Paris, especially when travelling with a child. We also liked the room - it was small (Paris) and clean, and had everything we needed in it: Twin beds, a full bathroom, a safe, hair dryer, two ... vad folk säger » windows that opened, coffee, and great air-conditioning ( a must in the summer). We paid for breakfast and this was a smart idea - the breakfast was - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is conveniently located close to the Opera House, Galeries Lafayette and other major stores. The metro and Saint Lazare station are virtually on the door step. Bathroom small (not sarcophogus) but well equipped. - The hotel is on the small side, but the rooms are spacious, for Paris. The desk staff is unendingly helpful and speak English. (We never got around to eating their "petit dejeuner", but it was available for an extra fee.)
