The proprietors were very welcoming and attentive and happy to greet us.
We had a beautiful room outlooking the courtyard with french doors and a
small balcony on which to sit (bliss - one morning I awoke to the birds
singing - who gets this in any city setting?). The bed was extremely

This hotel is absolutely fantastic - it was renowated a year ago and now looks totally different - the interior is fresh, modern and full od fashionable design motives. In the comfort room there was a change of towels each day, hairdrier in the closet and free of charge safe. Location is perfect, next to Oberkampf metro station, and also near to the second one. The neighborhood is friendly and safe, full of brasserie's and shops, and also next to restaurant on the corner, where, late at night

I could not fault this hotel. It was great value for Paris. It's not luxury, but it had everything I needed. The water was always hot. The room was well heated. Everything was spotlessly clean. Excellent location - 5 minute walk to the Metro and surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops. The staff were helpful and pleasant. -

1) Location, less than 100m walk away from Metro - Oberkampf. Ideal station to move around in Paris.If you have heavy luggage, carry luggages up and down the metro stairs can be a chore BUT the hotel proximity to bring you almost everywhere in Paris weighs over all that stairs.
2) Though they dont provide kettles in the room but the Reception ge

The hotel was really clean, they would come in the room everyday to check if you had clean towels etc.
They didn't steal anything from the room
The room was small but very pretty for how little we paid
The metro station is 1 min away and if you walk straight you arrive at Place de la Republique which has plenty of bars and places to eat. Not expensive
There was always someone at the reception to talk to you

Hotel is ok but the rooms are very small. However it does not matter since we spend most of the time out side for tourists. Very good hotels near this hotel and metro stations is very near to this hotel and also the tourism bus like hop on hopofff etc. But this place is very crowded and have to be careful in all aspects.

Location is very close to Gare du Nord, but surprisingly there is not much traffic noise during nighttime; the reception staff was very helpful, she gave us a larger room with an extra bed because we were travelling with two children, although we did not mention it earlier.

2 metro stations near to the hotel (3-5 min of walking). Pretty close to the center of the city. At night is quiet, quarter is good, i didn't noticed many immigrants, if you care about it. Good internet. Seems they got WiFi hotspot for every 3-4 rooms, so you may choice one that provide best signal strength for you. Speed was good enough for stre

The staff are polite, friendly & very cooperative. It is a comfortable hotel & what I looked for in a hotel for a solo traveller that spends all the day out. Near metro station, only couple of minutes walk, room size is suitable for solo traveller, well established & clean with good facilities; TV & safe bos in the room.
