  My mother and I stayed at the Grand Hotel this past week while visiting my son who is completing an internship in Castres. We arrived in the evening after a long day of travel and we were tired. The staff spoke English which was so helpful as I do not speak French. The beds were so comfortable. The breakfast included e - Everything !!! Superb/ Classy Hotel, The interior Decor and Design Features Exellent,Large open Log Fire in the Lounge Area. The Owners/ Reception staff very friendly and acommodating, asked for room overlooking river prior to trip, a lovely clean,fresh room with a very comfy bed and linen.

  The house was really well located-only 5 minutes walk from town centre. Françoise has restored and decorated the house beautifully. The back garden has a large swimming pool which was much appreciated by my son.   From the moment of arrival until we departed we were made to feel as if we were special friends. A cup of tea on the lawn was the start of a very relaxing few days stay. Our hosts were always available but never intrusive. The room was superb; large with dark red walls, a canopied bed, comfortable seating area and very reminiscent of grand countr... vad folk säger » y house living. During an evening meal with other guests and our hosts one point of conversation was a special way of cooking bread - which duly appe - You feel like you are in a manor house. The house is surrounded by 5 hectares of gardens, trees and fields. The rooms are enormous and very well docorated with antiques, mirrors, and paintings. Each room has a color connected to a local flower. The bathrooms are modern and spacious. We had dinner for 25 euros with everything included and it was a two hour affair talking to the hosts and eating gourmet food. The breakfast offered a lot of variety and was prepared with homemade products. T
