  We have stayed here before on our travels through Brittany. It is cheap,45 euros a night, easy to find and there is free parking across the street in a large car park. It is a 10 minute walk to the town centre and a little further to the chateaux. The hotel is situated above a bar/tabac but there is no problem with noise. Our room,no5,was overlook... vad folk säger » ing the street. The room was clean and the bathroom was recently refurbished. Shower was good. Breakfast at 5 euros was only a croissant, bread and so - The very friendly and helpful manager and his staff - he not only showed me where different places were on the street plan he provided, but drove me to church on Sunday morning in his car, because I found the hill too steep and asked him to call a taxi. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the hotel stays open 24 hours so there was no problem when local friends brought me back to Fougeres very late at night There was no problem if I needed to wait for my friends to arrive during the day and I s
