Excellent location in the center of Avignon, just off the Place D'Horloge. There are lots of good choices for meals nearby and the major attractions are a short walk. The hotel was clean and tidy, the hotel hired cycles which was an easy way into town and the food/wine at the restraunt was excellent. - Ideal place to be relaxed. The hotel is located on the island right next to Avignon with a swimming pool. In addition to sightseeing, you can enjoy bicycling in the area. Excellent food!

We really enjoyed this hotel. It was close to everything and Michael at the front desk was extremely helpful. If you don't like Michael, you probably don't like people. He was great for info and anything we needed. We always enjoyed our interactions with him. Room was spacious, a bit dated, but the building itself is very fitting for the town. Not 5 star, but a very nice place. Loved the location. Room was clean, just needs an update is all. I would stay here again.

The lady on reception was very helpful. A good basic hotel for the price, especially at Festival time in Avignon. The walk in to Avignon was unexpectedly pleasant with a cycle track running beside the river. The walk to the TGV station was also not as far as expected. -
The price was excellent and the breakfast was nicely served and a good value.
