I'm amazed when the hotel supposed to pick two people with different flights at the airport and my friend happened to have postphoned flight. We stayed in a building adjacent to the hotel. The room was spacious
even for us standards. It was exceptionally clean. The staff was not
just friendly but went out of their way to help us. Martin and Milan
were exceptional. They located a fly shop in Prague and gave us
instructions on how to get there. The restaurant was very good and we
thought good value. I don't have a lot to compare with but wines
were comparable to us wine store prices in the restaurant not a 2 or 3

for what we were hoping for. We loved it!

Nicole and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful the appt was beautiful inside very clean and well furnished the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spotless very well positioned for tourists highly reccommended. The weather was very wet and Nicole was so helpful in finding and booking suitable restaurant for us . The taxi transfer which she arranged was also first class and good value reliable . High value, spacious and gracious apartment that felt like home. It is a most pleasant walk into the Old Town from this location across the grass of Kampa to the Charles Bridge. The cafe breakfast and lunches delighted my palate. Coffee tasted wonderful to my palate and comparable to Portland and Seattle coffees in the NW US. The employees smiles were ever-present.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Didn't know it was a renovated convent. Very close, but extremely quite location. 3 minutes to the castle and about 5 to the St. Charles Bridge. We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

Everything! The room was very spacious and the whole hotel was beautifully finished. Breakfast was very good. Location was perfect, being close enough to all the main sites but being quiet enough to get away from the crowds. Being a smaller hotel, it felt like very personal service and attention to detail. They also brought us a bottle of wine when they knew it was my husband's birthday which was a very lovely gesture.

This was my third stay at Almandine. Lov it. Location is perfect, just off the main square and 5min walk from the Charles bridge. Easy to reach all the sites from here. Staff was so helpful, and the food was terrific. Apartments were clean and comfortable. I would stay there again and I highly recommend it.
