  You can not ask for a better location for a hotel. The view of the Karlstejn Castle from our room was amazing. The walk up to the castle was a breeze due to location as well. The staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. No eggs to order which was a little disappointing for a 4 star.   Service was A+ we arrived late 10pm, though the reception was closed, they called Pavla (reception lady) and she swiftly checked us in. Breakfast was good and the view from the hotel was nice. The architecture and setup of the hotel in general was excellent and unique. - Staff, beatiful location, food

  Hotel is located in excellent place, in front of mediaval castle. Large room, big restaurant, tasty breakfast, friendly staff, free parking and very good czech beer.   Penzion Karlstejn Vinice was amazing. Initially I wasn't expecting much for a budget hotel, but it really surpassed my expectations. The room was spacious, comfy, clean and warm (I hate cold rooms where you can't turn on radiators!). Breakfast was more than enough for two, the staff were so lovely and always on hand to offer us advice on where ... vad folk säger » to go and what to see. When we checked out, the lady even gave me a box of biscuits! I would definitely recommend to stay! - The staff was very friendly (and the restaurant she recommended was excellent). The room was big and comfortable. The value for money is good.

  We had decided to stay in Karlstejn and see the castle then travel into Prague rather than the other way round. Karlstejn is practically closed down in the evening and this pension has the advantage of having an open restaurant and is not on the busy main streets.
