if you are looking for some peace and quiet, and a nice apartment with a great view over the sea, villa Lisica is the righ choice. we were there only for a weekend break, however the lady owner was really nice to us. besides, she prepares the best breakfasts. her home-made carrot juice, aloe-vera cinnamon tea and vegetable omelet were just gorgeous!

We arrived 6 hours earlier and the receptionist lady did let us check-in even that early for no extra charge ... Then we decided to extend our stay by one day. Again, without any problem, the staff extended our stay paying one extra day on the same rate. The villa was literally 10 meters (approx 30 ft) from the Adriatic sea. Crystal clear water, refreshingly crispy, not too warm and not too cold. People around nice, friendly, quiet, but ready to help if you ask anything. Fast wifi access on the site. Air Con and sat tv fully functional with some channels in German and English. On departure we got a little present.
I have never got the point how to queue in the local market correctly. There seems to be a secret system about who is to be served first ... but that is not about the villa actually, it's about the village where the villa is located... But don't take me wrong it was a really only minor issue and we loved the village
Friendly atmosphere, location, Food
We went there in 13 of may, for one week. The season had just started, so not that much people. The hotel had a beautiful position next to the sea. The owner of the hotel, Sanja, was an amacing woman. She fixed everything we asked for. She also owned the restaurant about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. They had very nice food and very nice staf working at the restaurant. We had so much fun. I did not want to go home again and I will definitely go back there again. Soon I hope! Thank you! Annika
The hosts, the place, the view from the appartment and the fact the hotel is close to zadar (5-10 min driving - well indicated) but in a really quiet and beautiful place. The breakfast (plentiful) is served in a restaurant, near, managed by the owner who is very friendly.

It was quiet and remote, just what we were looking for. Staff and local food was wonderful. Already talking about wanting to go back!
The bedding at the hotel was not comfortable at all, the mattresses we rock hard and the pillows so soft your head sank to the bottom. Maybe it was just our room but that is the only thing we would change. My wife found sleeping on the sofa the only fix for her.
breakfast at the owner-operated d copious and good value include in room rate. Petracane pretty much closed during our visit in early October but owner's restaurant easy 5 minute walk from apartment along the seafront.
The mosquitoes! The room was crawling with them and we spent an uncomfortable night as a result.
the staff was very helpful, and it was ok, we were two couples and it felt a bit cramped in the bedrooms.
the bedrooms were too small, the shower would not drain and everyone had to shower quickly in order to have warm water.
