  Our Hosts were very kind and helpful. The appartment was fairly well-equipped and pretty spacious. Our bed was very comfortable. View was great to lake and mountains. The appartment is very well located as it is near highway, Mostar, Ston, etc, and sea but very silent and sheltered.   Outstanding hospitality, accommodations, and value located with a spectacular view of the Adriatic Sea between Dubrovnik and Split. The food was the best we had in Croatia. The hosts greeted us on the first night with delicious local red wine and cheese to relax and were charming. Breakfast first morning was fresh strawberries and apples, fresh bread with jam, fried eggs cooked to order, fresh - The best view you will have in your life. Choose the rooms with sea view. You will not believe! It is a very simple hotel. The simplicity, however is highly compensated by the attention of the owner, Ivan. He makes everything to make the guests comfortable. At ground floor there is a restaurant where Ivan's brother is the cook. At anytime he makes food. We had the best squids, fish and grilled vegetables for lunch! And local cheese and ham for breakfast! Nice view, good food, what else can a pe - In 2+ weeks in Croatia where we stayed mainly in "sobe" (rooms in private houses), this was the only one that came with breakfast, and a very good one at that. We could also buy dinner. The dinner we had, fresh sea bass, was one of the best we had in the entire trip. The location is on a cliff overlooking the Adriatic, fantastic views from private balconies, and trails to hike nearby. It is not near a town or city, so you need a car to get there, and plan to be isolated from city life, etc. wh

  We were traveling by car from Croatia to Montenegro and we needed a place to stay the night after a long drive. Small, cozy room, with a personal touch of a lovely Anela (treats on a night stand and a fridge magnet!) made our stay pleasant.   Hosts were very friendly and helpful...we stayed one night just to see lakes as we were travelling down the coast. Peaceful quiet...not touristy at all....no shops..hence no bus loads of noisy people!   The owner of the house made our stay!! First when we arrived he offered us couple of glasses of schnapps he produces. Then he was always available for helping us organizing the rest of our trip and giving us some tips. Finally before we left he prepared us couple of coffees to "feel" better. The communication is sometimes funny but from far he's the one we interacted the most during our 2 weeks tri - Arrived late at Ploce bus station. Friendly (most Croations are) attendant knew Tiho (owner of Apts San Antiono), and called him for us. Tiho in car was there in no time, a nice surprise to what would have been a 15 minute walk. Upon arrival, we enjoyed some of his home-made artisanal schnapps. Retiring to a clean, spacious room, I would have prefered a double bed to share with my wife, but it was comfortable.
