  Superior location in one of the best parts of town, close to everything you could possibly want and very reasonably priced. We received impeccable service from all who worked at the hotel.   Before staying at Poblado Plaza I did some research and most of the reviews were great, apparently the only complaint was the dated bathrooms and TV's, but being born and raised in Medellin I knew Poblado Plaza as one of the best hotels around and, fortunately I was right. We had a very pleasant experience, beggining with the front desk staff and ... vad folk säger » the bellboy (Geovanni) who welcomed us at 1:00 am and was available all the time. We stayed in 2 different rooms during our 12 day stay, the first one - The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Medellin in Avenida Poblado, the major artery through the downtown area. There are three or more hugh malls within walking distance, a McDonald's and Hard Rock Cafe next door. Some desk personnel speak some English, but I found that there were generally few English speakers. The staff was courteous and attentive; rooms were spotless. WiFi worked well, and flat screen tvs got some American channels. Excellent breakfast.
