  This is a choice for accommodation that delivers on multiple aspects. When one thinks of Shanghai, The Bund pops up not long after. This hostel's locations is ideally ON THE BUND!!l!! It offers on a budget what others pay hundreds of US dollars for in other forms of accommmodation. Staff is great, interior is clean, and lots of opportunities to me... vad folk säger » et fascinating people from all over the globe. The famous Nanjing Rd is only a few mins walk away. Subway is also not too far from the hostel. I defin - Brilliant location right by the Bund, excellent places to eat nearby. Short easy walk to Metro 10 mins max but lots of cheap taxis at the end of the road. The friendly staff spoke English and gave 5 star service! Nothing was too much trouble. We had a triple room on 4th floor with free wifi in the room and free internet in a computer room on the same floor!! The beds were comfortable and clean, shower powerful and hot. For less than £7 per night per person, in our triple room I have no complain

  This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. WAY better than I was expecting. We had the family room with two bedrooms and one bathroom all to ourselves. The beds were comfortable and had cool headboards. There was a pretty garden, a good cafe with coffee and food and a stiff gin and tonic, and a few nice people hanging around but not too crowded.... vad folk säger » It's on a neat little street just next to some major intersections. They let us store our bags overnight when we weren't there, and let us in even wh - I am a huge fan of the Chinese styled architecture in Mingtown Etour. Love love love those cats in the hostel, love the ornate room and love the bar/cafe by the little fish pond. It's been a great experience living in Mingtown. The location is great (right in the middle of Shanghai), you can walk to so many places from there or take the tube so easily - the tube station is just under 10-min walk away!

  The location is excellent. Many 24/7 stores, supermarkets are nearby. Close to subway stations and YuYuan Garden. The staff speaks good English. There is filtered hot water in the public kitchen and they have a thermo kettle in the rooms with mugs that you can use. It is a great idea. You can also find slippers, toilet paper and towels in the room... vad folk säger » . You can set the temperature in the room which is also great. Their luggage room is free for a day. The breakfast was decent but only for the 20% dis - Location was wonderful! The staff can speak english, not fluently, but they will make an effort to help you if you ask. There is a communal kitchen where you can heat stuff up and a communal water cooker; you get a thermos bottle and you can fill that to make tea or something in your room. This hostel will provide a wonderful sleeping arrangement and good access to Shanghai: three main subway stations nearby ( dashijie (5min walking distance), peopl's square (10 min), yuyuan station(10min))

  It is very close to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and railway station, in fact, it is the closest among all the other YHA in Shanghai, so the location is very convenient. The staff reserved my bed until almost 1:00 a.m, really appreciated it!! Location is not bad, 5 minutes on foot from the line 2, the same line of the railway station, the bund and the center of the city, very good.

  The place is beautiful - design of the hostel, especially the public area, is so comfortable and friendly. I only stayed for one night but spent all my time here (an evening and a day). The location is superb. Located in the centre of the city - actually my best part of the city - it is in a quiet lane where the modern city noise could not disturb... vad folk säger » you. The lane is one of those older streets in Shanghai. It gives you a lot of taste of the city. I have been in Shanghai many times and stayed in ho - The whole layout of this place is amazing. I travel a lot and always looking for places that feel like home and this is definitely one of them. There are wooden furnitures everywhere, airy windows, cozy fish pools with bamboo and the private room I was in was comfy. It's quiet, people here seem respectful and chill which is lovely. I will come back again.

Perfect location, close to the main street to go shopping, and to the line 2 metro station which takes you straight to Pudong.
