  An amazing find for a first time traveller to Shanghai. Adjacent to the new international expo complex...over the road from Century Park...staff are helpful...some more than others depending on their grasp of basic English While the Pudong area is just one small area of the huge city..the hotel's proximity to the subway line 2 makes it a winner lo... vad folk säger » cation. Stick to using the Maglev train between the hotel & the airport...the subway line 2 train takes some time to reach the airport...whereas t - This is my first trip to Shanghai. Hotel is in a great location, next to the subway station - making it easy to explore the rest of the city. You don't need to stay on or near Nanjing Road to make your Shanghai experience great. I was especially impressed by the staff, specifically Paul, at the front desk. I saw him taking "ownership" of a problem with another guest and solved it with a smile. He is a professional and a great asset to Dorsett.

  The staff were very helpful and showed flexiubility. This is my 5th time at this hotel and its very consistent. The location is superb for both business, shopping and sightseeing. The taxi guide is very helpful as you can just show your location to the driver. I'm sure there are more luxurious but this is in a great area for eating and drinking. Rooms are big and clean and they are generous with upgrades.
