  I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It is very secure building and excellent value for money. David was very helpful to welcome us and arrange everything we needed. Metro is around 10-15 minutes walk but convenience stores like 'Family Mart' (which I believe is 24H) is just close by. There is also plenty choice of local restaurants. Definitely recommended for price and location. - The location is OK - Nanjing West Road metro station is around 10 minutes walk. The entrance to the apartments are located on the back of the building. You have to call from reception to the guy responsible for rooms and then he comes. It can take some time. The apartment is OK if you do not need much assistance because there is no reception/nobody to help you. Otherwise the room is modern & nice. The view from the roof is super (the house has 29 floors).

  Stuff are professionals. They know how to deal with Guests . Le Meridian is choosing them Very Carefully. I respect that. Location is the best for everything. You will enjoy Shanghai . Facilities are kind of okay . they can make more. Very cooperating stuff, they will do whatever you want. they treat you like a VIP member. Very easy axess to metro lines. Breakfast was rich and the service was exellent. I need to mention our great view from our room on the 37th floor as well.

  Amazing hotel. Well designed. Very friendly stuff Check in . Out . Very smooth Pools are nice Breakfast is good I found nothing wrong in this hotel. much better than other 5* hotels. Recommended definitely - Very new hotel with lots of nice features and the bed was really nice. Night time was really quiet.

  Only thing I hope this hotel fixes is its individual room thermostat systen for heating and cooling. It simply does not work in the room. The hotel sets global heating and cooling and that is the temperature you have in your room. I complained fou7r times in ten days. My room was like a furnace and I had the thrmostat set at 18.   Nice hotel with good rooms and good beds. Very good to stay at if you are planning to fly the next morning. The free shutte bus will just take 5 minutes to the airport. In some way you get the feeling that this hotel has an American or European manager. It is the only hotel I have been to in China that is running like a normal western hotel. Room was very comfortable and well kitted out with kettle and variety of toiletries. There is a treadmill on site, free and fast Internet, and free shuttle that goes to the airport regularly. Lifts are very quick despite 9 floors of rooms. Doormen are excellent at helping ith cabs if you can't speak Chinese.

  Location, location, location! I stayed here twice. The hotel is close to the train station - People's Square, exit 14. It's in walking distance to East Nanjing Rd without all the noise. You can also walk to the Bund really easily. The staff are super friendly and speak English well. Breakfast was ok-good as it was included, no complaints there. It was disappointing I didn't get the same kind of r - The ambience of the hotel was really good all through out the hotel, the interior design from the lobby to the reception to the restaurants and especially the rooms is outstanding. The staff were very helpful and eager to serve in whatever way they can. From helping to arrange sightseeing tours or mapping out places to go, or picking up a taxi. The staff spoke very good english, especially the concierge.
