  I just loved the whole time while staying at Oakwood. They try there best to cater for western cultures. There staff were just so helpful. The cost of drinks in the hotel bar were a little expensive but that's what you expect in an outstanding hotel. I have travelled the world and this hotel rates as a great hotel. If you are going to travel to Guangzhou stay - Easy and cheap (19RMB) travelling by cab from Guangzhou East Railway Station - especially if arriving or leaving at night. Large variety of places to eat outside hotel. Short bus ride to Canton Fair. Washing facilities(need instructions for use in English though). English was well spoken by front end staff. Comfortable beds!!

  I was impressed, didn't expect too much from my usual experience with Chinese Hotels. One thing I know for sure after staying at the Somerset, I'll be a loyal customer from now on.   Very spacious, with a bathroom for each bedroom. The view from the floor-to-ceiling windows was wonderful. It was so nice to be able to spread out and work and relax after long days visiting factories. And the laundry room with the washer/dryer was an unexpected plus! I would definately stay here again!   We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment, it had all the facilities for a family or couple who prefer to do their own cooking and washing. The apartment was very clean and the staff were excellent. We had breakfast a couple of times and that was also excellent.   Great if you are attending the Canton Fair. They have clean, very spacious rooms. There's a kitchen and Landry within the rooms. My room invluded breakfast. It's good but not great. At free I'm not complaining. I've stayed at the Hyatt and its same class but at 4 times the price.   This small guesthouse is run by a very friendly team. It is within walking distance of the Shekou ferry (about 5 mins walk) and is parallel to the main road behind the small post office. The garden is absolutely picturesque with many different types of exotic flowers. We had drinks and dinner in the garden restaurant and it was very relaxing. Free wifi and good shopping in the area: dvd's, tailors etc. Great service with a smile and - I like the atmosphere and design of crystal garden,it's like i'm living in cozy garden. The female dorm very clean and above my expectation, easy access to shekou port and metro station. Favorable place to stay in shenzhen. I'm really grateful that staff so polite and helpfull when i'm asking about so many things, they help me to going around by bus to Fairy lake garden. I'm extremely recommended this place to everyone who love cozy and quite place to stay for leisure :D
