Puerta Escondida is a great place to go to. The rooms are nicely decorated with a good and clean bathroom. The living room and where we had breakfast are breathing an extremely positive atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent and prepared by our host Andres who is an extremely nice guy. Whatever we needed or wanted to know, he was of great help! Highly recommendable!

showers with boiling hot water on full power for more than 15 mins for

Ulises, the owner, was the most helpful person I have ever met! My boyfriend and I were driving to Camila 109 and we got a flat tire on the way. When we arrived, Ulises helped us with the repair every step of the way.
Flat tires aside, the view was spectacular and the breakfast on the patio was the best way to start a day of exploring Valparaíso

Valparaiso is a must see place and the owner Ulises gave perfect advice to approach it - sights, restaurants, ... We had the best room of this beautiful small house, large enough and great view over the city and bay. Other rooms are much smaller but everybody has great views from the lobby and terrace. Great breakfast. Good WiFi.

I loved the location on Cerro Bellavista- amongst all the street art and being away from the main tourist hordes. Mother & daughter combination of Patricia and Sarah are warm, friendly and very helpful with suggestions of things to do etc and even recommended places to visit away from Valparaiso. They also took me on a night tour before I left

The owners are lovely....very welcoming and helpful. English is spoken. My room with twin beds had a lovely typically Valpo view down a steep ravine and over to the next hill...interesting both night and day. I had good sleeps as this area is quieter than some. The hostal is being renovated and will have a nice eating area with a great view. Do it yourself breakfast and the opportunity for cooking your own lunch or dinner.. Espiritu Santo, almost next door, is an excellent restaurant. Try it.
