Ulises, the owner, was the most helpful person I have ever met! My boyfriend and I were driving to Camila 109 and we got a flat tire on the way. When we arrived, Ulises helped us with the repair every step of the way. Flat tires aside, the view was spectacular and the breakfast on the patio was the best way to start a day of exploring Valparaíso. Valparaiso is a must see place and the owner Ulises gave perfect advice to approach it - sights, restaurants, ... We had the best room of this beautiful small house, large enough and great view over the city and bay. Other rooms are much smaller but everybody has great views from the lobby and terrace. Great breakfast. Good WiFi.
alla recensioner » Valparaiso is amazing. We were lucky to get beautiful weather. Camila 109 is provably one of the nicest places we stayed in. Ulises the owner is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. The view is beautiful. This place is so clean and cozy. True feeling of home away from home. The view from the building was incredible. The room, bathroom and all other facilities were very clean. The breakfast was excellent (one of the best I've had outside a restaurant!) The staff were also very friendly. Ulysses and his family are lovely hosts. Set near Ave Alemania, this B&B boasts awesome views of the beach and the neighborhoods of Valparaiso. It was a 15 min walk to Iglesia San Luis in Cerro Alegre. Camila109 was great. We felt very welcome. As soon as we got there we got detailed orientation to the city from Ulises. It was so helpful. Hotel is on quiet street with easy bus or walk to the city. The owners and their staff were wonderful. I was served a delicious breakfast on the patio overlooking the bay. The bed was the most comfortable bed from my three months vacation. The owner and staff were excellent in helping us with our plans during our stay. The breakfasts were very good. The rooms and facility were very clean. Great view of the harbour. Friendly staff. Close to Neruda Museum "La Sebastiana" Very clean and trendy. The location, design, the view, everything was perfect, and Ulisess helped us in every detail w needed. I loved it. Great service, good breakfast and comfortable rooms. Worth every penny. Finding the place with a rental car was quite an experience, even the navigator was in trouble. So, we left the car in the garage and found the buses and metro very good. The use of toilette required some special measures. It was perfect. If you are arriving with a car to Valparaiso take it slowly. It's not the easiest place to drive in. Specially if you have manual gear. Everything was excellent. We booked the smallest room (it was the only thing available at the time) and it was really small. We like the idea of using recyled water for the toilets, but they took a very long time to fill. The walls of my room could benefit from some sound proofing. This neighborhood has several dogs who bark all night long. I am a light sleeper and thus had trouble sleeping with the noise. I used earplugs to some effect. Keep this in mind if you are a light sleeper like me. Not sure if it is great for long stays... Nothing!. I liked everything. I didn't like that I stayed here only one night! Should have stayed longer. Room was small, and window pointed to aisle.

Based on local tax laws, Chilean citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Chile) must pay an additional fee of 19%. Foreign business travellers, who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 19% regardless of the length of their stay in Chile.
