First of all, I am really thankful for the relentless support on the part of Marta, manager of the hotel, who really made me everything and especially the necessary arrangements I needed prior to my arrival and during my stay. On behalf of myself, she deserves a standing ovation My room was cleaned on a daily basis and was really confortable. Despite the fact that I stayed at the ground floor, the location was quiet enough and I had a great time during my stay. Marta also helped me book several.
alla recensioner » The room was very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. The shared kitchen facilities were excellent and the area was spotlessly clean. Buffet breakfast was adequate of juice, cereal, yoghurt, bread, cheese, ham, pastries and tea & coffee. The hostel is located in a quiet area and about a 15min walk from town centre. The staff were very helpful even with their limited English and our limited Spanish. Overall very satisfactory. This small business in Punta Arenas city has been providibg service for about 8 years. Her manager Martita and owner are great people, service oriented. The rest of the staff very nice and providing an excellent job, keeping the hostal in a great shape. I'm very sure I'll stay in this place in my next visit. We stayed one night and we came back... the lady in de reception is amazing, helped us with everything even after our stay! Very comfortable and clean, nice simple breakfast, and Just a small walk from the city center... Perfect!!!. Rather like a nice English guest house! The shower cubicle was very small and you had to be careful not to knock the tap handle as this would affect the temperature and flow of water. Wi-Fi was available but had to keep asking the staff to turn on the modem. Can't think of anything. Seemed like an older building. With the high winds, we listened to the walls & roof creaking most of the night. Checked in late & the person at reception was friendly but not very helpful at giving information about the city & were to go. 15 min. walk to downtown (knew this in advance; no surprise). A bit far from downtown about 15mins walk. Staff did not speak English. A fair walk to main town. The breakfast service is too sloppy. a bit dirty here and there, breakfast was not bad but also not very good. Neigborhood looks a bit suspicious but is okay. Not so centrally located, if you want to go downtown you need to drive or take bus/ cab. The location of the hostal is not near the center. WI-FI was not working but there is a PC in the hostal. Location is poor, nothing worthwhile in walking distance.
