  The staff members are incredibly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing and the location is great for walking to various parts of the city. The accommodations are clean and comfortable and hold a bit of Winnipeg history within their walls. Our questions and requests were responded to quickly and politely. The only slight exception to this was the young woman who checked us out on the last day.   The room was great. I had a terrible room and called the front desk and they immediately switched me. The bed was great and the room was spacious. The staff were top-notch. The food in the restaurant was mostly excellent. I had the filet mignon both nights and the second time was exquisite.
