A friendly welcome on arrival with tea and cake. A very clean, comfortable and attractively furnished room. An excellent selection of food for breakfast, some of which is locally sourced. Wonderful bed, lovely room. It was a pleasure to return there each night. A lot of attention to detail, like nice German (not Chinese) bath gel and soap. Good breakfast, with a little something special each day, eg Belgian strawberries or egg cooked to order. They even picked me up at the Ieper station when I arrived late, and let me use a bike to get to the station the other days, an easy 15 minute ride.
