  We arrived to a very warm welcome from Ann who provided us with a local aperitif and information about the area. Our first impressions were that it was an extremely well presented B&B and not what we were expecting to find in the countryside outside of Iper. We chose the location as it suited us for travelling between the WW1 battlefields and ... vad folk säger » as the B&B is in a quiet spot it became a relaxing retreat from a busy day out, the room was beautifully decorated and much more comfortable than - In one word I liked "EVERYTHING...!" Anne and Filip were fabulous hosts, going above and beyond their duty to make us feel welcome and relaxed. The layout of the B&B, the fantastic rural views, the small pond, the bridge, the doves, geese, black swans were like out of a romantic film.   My parents and I loved everything about the hotel, from the wonderful owners, wait staff, the rooms, the food, the ambience. Our meals were served on a romantic terrace under huge trees and soft lights. The rooms were wonderfully unique. The meals were delicious.   Friendly reception; food excellent with good choices - dinner & breakfast; comfortable rooms with lovely views from the front of the hotel. It was also very helpful to use a lift from the car park.
