  Having tried many hotels in Mechelen, and needing to stay when a conference was one, I booked this hotel. I arrived late in the evening, but my key and paperwork were ready, so I was able to nip into the dining room before it closed. The menu is small, but has some unusual items to try.   The room was enormous with lovely decor. The owner was extremely helpful. Parking was fairly easy on the street. The location was excellent for our excursions to Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent and the Royal African Art Museum in Tervuren. - beautiful town house, tastefully renovated preserving most of the original 19th century structure and atmosphere;... vad folk säger » excellent , discrete and friendly service.   We were instantly felt welcome by the friendly accommodating staff. The breakfast the following morning was of good quality and served in our room provided a lot more privacy - great when travelling with children.   Det är andra gången vi kom till Red Spot. Vi fick sviten på första våningen. Inredningen är mycket komplett. Finns kök och möjlighet att laga mat. Gratis Wi-Fi som fungerar utmärkt.
