  Hotellets placering på orten - The staff was amazing. From the moment we checked in, they were bendingover backwards to make us comfortable and to help us in any waypossible. When our baby got sick, all three front-desk staffers weresimultaneously on their cell phones, calling doctors, pharmacies, andfriends who had babies (and might therefore know... vad folk säger » something about whathappens when a baby gets sick).   Great hotel & great service located next to the Train Station of Leuven. Though city train station areas normally tend to be a little shabby this word does not apply to Leuven central station. The hotel building is quite new, and the train station is renovated. The neighbourhood is more then ok and from the hotel you have quick access to the c... vad folk säger » ity center. It takes a 600m walk to park your car for free. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. - Ik vond het een super hotel. Het ligt direct achter het station, is alleen wat lastig te vinden op de tomtom dus laat je goed informeren hoe er te komen. Verder een mooi hotel met design lobby. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Wij kwamen later in de middag aan maar er stond zo een extra bed klaar. En de matrassen sliepen erg fijn en dat hoor je mij niet snel zeggen want ik ben daar meer dan kritisch over. Ik kom zeker terug.

  The location is excellent. I brought a relative to Leuven while I worked and this is a perfect place to stay. It is on a square of restaurants, across the street from the train/bus stations, and with a pedestrian walk around the far side of the building towards the incredibly beautiful centre of town . Leuven is a university town it is filled with restaurants, young people and energy. - The location is excellent when you travel by train or bus and have business to do in Leuven The rooms are clean, a lot of space, excellent bathroom. breakfast is good. The admosphere is a bit 'maigret'like, also because on the floor there is a cafe and the square outside is full of busy terraces. You would expect that on this location there is much noise in the night but this is not the case. It is rather quite in fact.

  Very helpful personnel. Although ibis is right next to a train station, no noise coming from the station could be heard in my room. The WiFi Internet connection worked well most of the time, just in the evening there were problems with too many clients connected. A large bike parking lot right next to the hotel. - The hotel is located a about 200m from the station exit, making it convenient to arrive by rail (as I did). There are quote a few bars and restaurants on the opposite side of the station, and various sandwich shops in the station concourse beneath the platforms. Proper restaurants can be found in the city Centre in Groot Markt which takes around 10-15 minutes to walk to, allowing a reconnaisance of a pleasant shopping street en-route

  IBIS Hervelee is a business-focussed property in a service area off the main road. It is very well done. My room was possibly the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The double glazing very effectively kept the noise from the road out and the floor to ceiling curtains were blackout so I could sleep in the summer evening. In fact it is so good I have arranged for all my travel to Belgium to be based there.

The owners are extremely helpful and outgoing, the interiors are very consistent in contrasting black/white style with an eye for detail, the room I had (the 'rabbit room') was very spacious and comfortable.   The hotel is very comfotable and has a nice atmosphere. The distance to the centre of Leuven is very good, about appr. 10 minute walk. The room was very clean and really big, even a balcony!
