The location in the heart of town, Mark was a great help taking my luggage up and down when check out. Very comfortable and I suggest it for a family of four.
Loved the location and the spacious layout of the flat. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. Felt newly renovated.

Absolutely nothing.
There is renovation going on in the street at the moment so the windows in the main room were covered in semi-transparent plastic - enough to let light in, but we couldn't see out. There was some work going on on Saturday morning.
Unfortunately we had a very noisy family on the floor above. Crashing around both nights till 2 or 3 in the morning. Eventually we had to knock on the door at 2.30am and ask them to please be quite. So although we really loved this apartment, we suggest the owner asks the people on the top floor to be more considerate.
Difficulty accessing flat - due to not being given access code when booking

An email from the owner prior to the visit to let us know about the keypad number to get into the flat would have been most helpful! Thankfully a very helpful member of staff from the shop below mananged to phone the owner to get the number. Noisy neighbours in the flat above stamping about on laminate floor at 1 o'clock on a Sunday morning isn't ideal! A map of the city would benefit first time visitors to Ghent, we had been a couple of times previously so it was ok for us.
