The apartment offered the privacy and kitchen facilities my wife and I were accustomed from our own home. I was there for a seminar and I found the private parking very convenient for me to go back and forth. My wife enjoyed the city which was a 15 minute walk from the centrum and ideal for shopping or dining in the city. Despite being in the city, we found the apartment relatively calm and quiet. Tommy (our host) was very friendly and always very willing to help. In short, we would most highly.
alla recensioner » Very spacious and quiet room, extra large and extremely comfortable bed (1,80 x 2,00 m). We loved the vintage / antique decoration and the fact that the room had no TV contributed to the vintage-feel. The huge and gorgeous wooden bathtub in the middle of the bathroom is a life-saver: after a long day walking around the city, there's nothing better than soaking in hot water for more than an hour! As we arrived by car we appreciated the fact that the b&b was not in the city centre and secure parking was available. It was approximately a 15 minute walk to the Central Station and shopping area. We loved the quirkyness of the accommodation and the hi-tech bathroom. The owner, Tommy, was very friendly and knowledgeable about his city and guided us in our search for restaurants. One of the nicest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. We were in the downstairs room, and the room was massive, the bed was big and very comfortable and the highlight was the wooden bath in the middle of the (also massive) bathroom. The owner (Tommy) is a very nice and friendly guy. Heaps of room for a family with 2 kiddies. Very nicely appointed, and well maintained. Great breakfast. Nicely appointed apartment; friendly and helpful owner. Unique, central, clean, friendly, helpful, spacious. Comfort. Nothing negative actually, I would only recommend that anyone staying here to ask Tommy about the intercom system in the apartment. The hotel is advertised as having wifi throughout the hotel, but the only place in the room that we could get even a weak signal was if you stood right up against one of the walls ! The B and B isn't in a tourist area, and I have to say that we didn't feel particularly comfortable walking back from the city centre at night. Maybe we were just being a bit too jumpy, but there were quite a few groups of men hanging round in doorways and this made us feel a little bit nervous. Several flights of steep, narrow stairs up to 3rd floor (although owner helped carry baggage). Very tight, narrow and steep circular steps up to bedroom. Not too near the centre so bit of a walk to get there and to then on to nice restaurants. Nothing at all.
