  The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. There were some delightful little welcoming touches like fresh roses in the room and little decorative bits and piece here and there. A few popular magazines were also in the room. The grounds were particularly well cared for. It was quiet and just a short stroll to the centre of the village. - what a wonde... vad folk säger » rful place to stay, just perfect with the best cooked eggs I have had in many years which was delivered to our room & we ate on the balcony listening to the kookaburra singing . The free Wifi was indeed handy. I highly recommend Kookaburra Lodge to anyone it is a piece of paradise.

  Very close ot platypus viewing platform and the town centre. Convenient to all the restaurants and cafes. The rooms are comfortable and include great tea making facilities, a fridge and microwave. Also the rooms are aircondiioned and have a ceiling fan. The spa was a real treat and had us relaxed in no time. there is a great bookshop / cafe a few minutes walk away among many other typical small county town shops. We spent an enjoyable few hours looking through them and enjoying some country hospitality.

Very friendly owners. Daily supply wood for fire in room.
