  From the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly, accommodating and knew what they were doing, we got our key and milk within 2 minutes we had been processed upon arrival. Room was spacious, clean, well presented, and inviting. We had a Spa unit for $135 and that was the best and appropriate price (keep it).   Fabulous newly renovated room with beautiful linen...very helpful staff gave us advice on dining and local walks. Quiet location. Excellent for travellers who do not intend to spend all their time in the room/motel grounds.   The staff were most concerned for my comfort and well being. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with great kindness. I travel from Canberra to Tumut reasonaby often and will certainly make this motel my usual place to stay.   Really helpful staff, good communications, good pricing, very comfortable, clean and quiet, well planned facilities, comfortable, ran 100km from Tumbarumba on forest trails so I just wanted to get in, shower, relax, and have quiet and comfort. The staff made sure that everything was in order and easy to access. They were great. I'd definitely stay... vad folk säger » at the Merivale again. - Loved the room, it was nice and modern. It was close to town too. I also liked that the owners rung to confirm and also pre booked us in and sent a text with details of how to get our key after hours as we were arriving around 6pm. Little extras such as leaving some breakfast for us and heated towel racks and foxtel made this a great value stay.
