We were so welcomed the staff were are so friendly. The rooms
beautifully decorated, crisp and so clean. The breakfast room and
outside patio casual dining makes you forget you are on a busy Sydney
street. You walk out the solid front door and there's the beach. We
have booked ahead for our friends and relatives for our daughter 's

I liked the warm friendly greeting on arrival which continued throughout my stay. I loved the relaxed atmosphere. Being invited to help myself to tea & coffee in the main area at anytime even though there were facilities in the room. I felt welcome. It was lime being "Home away from home".

I was pleasantly surprised to find during a last minute booking that the
hotel was offering a deal on a twin room with 2 double beds - this was
impossible to find in other hotels of the same calibre in north sydney,
and anywhere within the same price bracket. The late checkout of 12 noon
was also fantastic, again I haven't seen this in many other

and I was impressed at their flexibility and accommodating manner, both
online and in person. Fabulous!!! -
My room was spacious, modern, with all the necessary facilities. A bonus
was the balcony with an outdoor setting. The staff were friendly and
helpful. I used a wheelchair at times and many of the staff asked if I
needed assistance which I found very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to
stay again and recommend to others.

Great location and view of Darling Harbour and Paddy's City Market. Although it is some distance to the Rocks and the Opera House, it is walkable and can see a lot of things on the way. The room was small but was always kept very clean. The hotel is in a quite location and it is only a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station which was very handy. The breakfast was great. We like the owners and found we had a lot in common. The room was larger
than expected and we were quite comfortable for our four nights. George
and family also provide your choice of a great breakfast. The location
was good, we walked to the harbour and only took transit a couple of
time but the hotel was easy for using bus or train.

The hotel is located in Oxford Street in Paddington, a bit outside the central business district but easily accessib - we felt that we received courteous contact with staff - the room was clean and comfortable - good value for money. We were left stranded at number 21 Oxford St., Darlinghurst by the "Air port to hotel " courtesy bus, and were most impressed when someone from the hotel came in a private car to transport us to to Arts Hotel. We received our early morning call as requested. When we have another visit to Sydney we hope you can accommodate us.

The very responsive nature of the staff. The purpose of our stay was my partner was having surgery at St Vincent's and we needed somewhere closeby - we'd stayed there before (2008 & 2009). staff were excellent. manny in the restaurant downstairs was great + rooftop dining a rare treat. Fresh food market across the road is perfectly paired to the kitchenette in the rooms.
