  The owners were very helpful & pleasent to deal with. They gave us pleanty of assistance on attractions in the area. The room are quiet, spacious & comfortable. The weathers was the only let down. Rained heavily during our stay.   Being temporarily disabled I was more than pleased to see hand rails in the shower. I feel there should be at least one in EVERY shower every where. The Alfred has been our favored place to stay for many years and never fails to disappoint except for once when there were no vacancies and that was our fault. They live on the property so when we arrived on a Sunday after normal checkin time and they were more than happy to meet us for check in. The overall facilities were well maintained and clean.   The newly refurbished room was very nice indeed. A modern clean line bathroom and well presented room with an extra bed and a glass table with chairs. Fridge and the usual facilities were all there. Room has a high ceiling.
