  I feel like I'm staying in a living museum when I'm at The Hotel Windsor. That's what I love most, as an anthropologist. I love the spaciousness of the rooms. I love the pillow menu - what a treat! I liked the fact that they had a system in place that allowed guests to use the same towels if they wanted to in order to save water which is great. What I would have also liked to see is a recycle bin in our room so we can put our aluminium, paper, cardboard, plastic and glass.

  Room was comfortable and clean. Booked a kingsize twin premium room but put in twin mediocre room. Complained to management and they changed room next day to superior kingsize but not twin beds. New shower excellent loved - The locations was handy for the three locations we had to visit. the Reception staff were efficient, and friendly. The room we were eventually given was clean, comfortable and quiet. It appears to have been recently renovated. The Hotel is located close to many attractions and restaurants. It appears that some rooms are better than others and that only some are as described in the Hotel's description. The buffet breakfast was pleasant and adequate but not sumptuous as described.

  Arriving on a delayed flight into Melbourne via Sydney from Hawaii, we expected all sorts of problems upon arriving very late at the Somerset. However, I must complement their staff, in particular Paul Dale, who were very helpful and understanding. I commend them for the service, the spotless room and the central location. Bob Langridge - i like there are lots of electric and home appliances, like microwave oven, washing machine, stove, etc. There are shops and supermarkets nearby thus cooking in the room is very convenient esp. my mother is a vegetarian. It also near the melbourne central, queen victoria markets. And many tourist points can be reach on foot. (If you don't mind to walk)

  The hotel suited our requirements perfectly. The location was good, the staff were exceptionally helpful. The beds were so comfortable. Even loved the fact that there was a bathtub which meant we could soak our weary feet and legs after a good day out and about. - Have stayed at Rydges 2009, 2011 and now 2013.   Amazingly convenient if arriving by train or on the bus from the Airport. Reception staff were very friendly, room was spacious with comfortable chairs and a low table as well as a desk and chair. Bathroom excellent. It was quiet overnight and I slept very well. Buffet breakfast of a high quality. I had a back injury this trip and when I checked in David on reception was at my room shortly after me with a bucket of ice for my back & would not accept a tip but wished me well in my recovery. These acts of kindness & excellent customer service are definitely remembered & appreciated.

  The staff were fantastic, they couldn't do enough for you. The room was spacious and very well appointed. They location would be great if you had plans at one of the sporting venues and although you were 2 blocks from the North/South tram routes, there were East/West trams running one street either side of the hotel. Thoroughly recommend this hote... vad folk säger » l, especially if you like a bit of room to spread out, a couch and table to sit on/at, rather than having to lie on your bed all the time. - Amazing staff, especially concierge who always greeted us warmly and helped us with our twins. Very accommodating and sympathetic to our needs for our 6 month old babies. Well furnished rooms/suites for amazing value. Best location - just around the corner from flinders lane where lots of good restaurants / cafes located. One of the best experiences I've had at a hotel - particularly for the price we paid!

  We were smack bang in the middle of the city so location was excellent. Easy walking distance to most things we were interested in visiting. I found the staff friendly and polite. Based on this alone I would defintely stay here again. Value for money a definite. Alice's was lovely w - This hotel suited us exactly it had all we needed for a short 3 day stay in Melbourne. Close to shops theatre, art centre Fedration Square and public transport. Bed was comforable, room clean and fresh, bathroom was new with good shower and loads of hot water. The cost of a three night stay was incredably inexpensive for its central city position. Not a luxury hotel if you want spa baths etc. but most definitely a good quality hotel for travellers who want a bit more than backpacker budget hot

  We stayed at Oaks on Market for two nights. The studio apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. The hotel is close to Casino and night life, within 10 minutes by walking.
