  There was a pleasant atmosphere and the big space of the reception area was inviting. My room was very clean, lovely and modern. The Bathroom was also very modern and of a good size. I requested to have a quiet room which was accomodated. It was good to have a small desk as well for working purposes. There was plenty of storage. I have also stayed at the Ibis in Brisbane, and I have been imp - The front desk staff were excellent. So helpful. We were in Melbourne looking for a flat for our daughter so had some paperwork to do. Staff did some photocopying and faxing for us and it was no trouble for them.(We had our own laptop and internet) We needed a carpark and were able to have one. I n a visit a few weeks before the weather was very hot and they gave us an iceblock and cold drink on our return from house hunting. Very thoughtful-full marks. We will certainly visit again.

The breakfasts were very impressive with a great choice of fresh, delicious food and coffee made to order. The fresh fruit platter was an unexpected, very appreciated highlight on arrival.   When we arrived I asked if twin beds were booked. She said queen and divan . I thought that was a bit rich having to stay on divan. I had told my friend I usually stay at Mooloolaba as the screen showed the one at Mooloolaba. She then said they could make king into twin. We had booked I bed twin apt. When we came back at 4.30pm. So great stay. - I liked the fact that it was situated near the city attractions but not too close, hence not too noisy. The tram stop was just by the hotel or we could walk downtown in less than 15 minutes. There was a small supermarket right next door. We were on 10th floor and had the views without the traffic noise. The staff were nice and helpful and the apartment was roomy, comfortable and tastefully decorated.

  I can't say enough good things about the Alto and staff . The room was clean ,comfortable and had little extras that made you feel at home.I had a mini box of chocolates and a welcome note waiting in my room as well as my luggage that they had kept secure for me for a week I was traveling to Caines .   We pretty much got exactly what was advertised. It wasn't much, but it was clean, comfortable and an enjoyable relief to come back to after spending the daytime being a tourist. I thoroughly recommend this hotel's cheaper suites to anyone on a budget who still wants to experience Melbourne easily and enjoyably. - Comfortable beds. Hot shower with good pressure. Friendly, helpful staff on reception. I am very impressed by the attitude and immediate response of staff on reception following the disturbance during early hours on Monday 14th November by workmen cleaning a grease trap. I am very grateful for their acknowledgment and appreciation of the inconvenience.

  I feel like I'm staying in a living museum when I'm at The Hotel Windsor. That's what I love most, as an anthropologist. I love the spaciousness of the rooms. I love the pillow menu - what a treat! The harpist is a wonderful treat :) The staff are very professional and courteous without being insincere or obsequious - that's a rare skill and grea... vad folk säger » tly appreciated. - Room service meal was soooooo tasty and everyone was lovely there. I liked the fact that they had a system in place that allowed guests to use the same towels if they wanted to in order to save water which is great. What I would have also liked to see is a recycle bin in our room so we can put our aluminium, paper, cardboard, plastic and glass.
