Staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything was ok. Helped us with our booking which was booked wrong. Was really wonderful. Definitely come back and definitely recommend AAA+++ -

So close to Southern Cross Station for early morning departure on Overland train next day.
Close to Convention Centre only a couple of stops away on the tram for attending a conference.
I was still able to have free breakfast in the morning even though I was ready to check out before 7am when breakfast normally starts.

Location is the winning factor, hostel is in the heart of Mel CBD. Just a short walk from Southern Cross Station. All the staff is friendly & helpfull, allowed me to check in early. I enjoyed the free pancakes on sunday morning when i arrived - TQVM ALL

The staff were excellent,friendy sense of humour and extremely helpful. The room service meals we ordered were exceptional and fast in delivery. The minni bar was stocked with a good choice of drinks, the wine was very good. We will always be using youe services in the future when collecting family from the airport. -

We stopped in for a very brief overnight stay but really enjoyed the location....tram close to visit the central city and the St Kilda pier and shops for a lovely casual morning. The hotel was a lovely clean oasis with friendly helpful staff for us on the night before we left Australia to return home. Special mention must also be made of the comfy bed :-) the sleep was great before a long day!!!

Comfy 1 bedroom apartments. Great to have large bed with 2 mattresses joined so that one does not interrupt others sleep. Lounge spacious. Pool/gym was adequate. Great breakfast deal. Wonder staff at breakfast. Staff helpful at front desk.

This was a beautiful hotel. The rooms were very clean and the Reception at the front desk was more than hospitable, very accomodating!
I think the place might be haunted! So does 4 other guest that stayed with us. All having strange dreams that turned gory and feelings of being watched! It was weird! But a gorgeous place!! -

everything, there isnt anything to fault about this place!..I got upgraded to a 4bed from a 10bed cos they were super busy!..Its within walking distance to the main eating places in Acland Street etc.. tram stop in front of the hostel.

Beds were very comfortable and rooms are kept very clean. -
The location was great, close to the train station, close to cheap restaurants in Chinatown, easy walk around the city from there. We loved that it is a small apartment block. We never heard a noise from the neighbouring apartments. The bed was lovely and comfy. The opening windows were very big and let in lots of natural light. Loved the dispensers in the bathroom!! So clean and neat and lovely products. It had everything we needed. Will stay there again.

Location was great, right in the heart of melbourne. Parking was $20 at
reception with Wilson parking on Corner of Swanston and Little Collins.
Very quite in the room (7th Floor) with very bustling eateries below
and right outside of the hotel. Very near to Fliders Street station,
Trams to Victoria Market and on to Coburg. Breakfast in basement was
superb and great choice of foods for continental. Casino not very far
about $8 in a cab.

As I was very busy day and night, I didn't spend much time in the room, however the City Edge Apartments had everything I needed for my very short stay in Melbourne and the location was fantastic and also very convenient. No frills but I highly recommend for location and value. -
