cleanliness of the room It was nice to get a phone call prior to our stay asking what our parking needs would be, and organising the permit to park on the street (as we had a large van). Reception staff friendly, helpful, called me by my name. Loved the location and surrounding parks, attractions and cafes and restaurants. Also it was. Beautifully decorated and appointed room! Very quiet too, as we heard no traffic noise, a bonus so close to the city! The bed was extremely comfy!.
alla recensioner » When we were put into the room we booked! The layout was just what we asked for! & it was close to everything we needed in having a girls weekend. The staff was very helpful & allowed us a late checkout which came in handy. The staff were excellent, and the room itself was absolutely beautiful - spacious, well designed, clean and bright, and QUIET - which was amazing given the location. standard of fitout and high maintenance and and cleaniness. professional , helpful employees. good set up with 2 comfy double beds, cool decor. Great location near the MCG and also very close to tram line to the Melbourne CBD. Stylish interior and helpful staff. Close to Rod Arena and MCG Close to excellent restaurants. Easy to find. Close to trams and a quick drive to Ikea. The convenience of the location, 15 minute walk to the city and 5 minute walk to the MCG. Comfortable rooms. The room design - very modern and different from the regular hotel chains. Love it! And the free wifi!. close to Rod Laver close to lots of dining and drinking establishments walking distance to city. The staff were very friendly & very helpful. Will recommend to all my friends. The room was clean and nicely furnished, the location was good. Was quite small, but for only one night and not mu h time spent in the room, this wasn't an issue! Didn't like the shower without a screen and no partition between it and the floor, so the entire small area next to the shower in the ensuing got very wet!. I didn't like the on street parking, & was not informed pre arrival of a water leakage that had us put into separate rooms. However this was rectified after the first night & through my own request. Totally not the hotels fault, but every time we went out there were smokers around the front door. It was raining and it was the only shelter. I hate cigarette smoke!!. tv bit small by todays standard. bathroom vanity pokey. Limited parking. Nothing we didn't like. The early check out at 10am, when my flight was at 6pm. And there was no washroom where we could freshen up before we head to the airport. Parking!! There is only 6 parking spaces for the whole hotel which need to be pre booked. Street parking is from 4:30pm til 9:30am 7 days a week so if you're driving, plan on taking your car with you. Bedrooms were joined so not much privacy. A bit expensive, query value for money. Not enough parking. No foyer toilets. There was one staff member available to check in clients on a Saturday morning. Took us over 30 minutes to check in which is too long. Parking was an issue, we were lucky and got a permit but were told they only had three - I would not stay there if I could not park my car there. TV was to small and no flat screen. Carpet worn near tiled area and bit noisy Sunday morning. TV not working properly, not enough parking. Our suite was next to the street and was a bit noisy with passing pedestrians and traffic at times. There were not enough staff at the check in counter and this process was time consuming. On walking past there was a long line of people waiting to check in after us. We had no remote for the air conditioning/heating but that was remedies by the time we returned to the room later that night. found the fact i had no hairdryer or iron in the room despite the information directory stating each room had these basic facilities very ordinary to say the least. I did report this staff on checkout as no-one answered the phone when i called reception to request both these items. You gussed it i went out wet and crumpled. No parking available. We had a great stay stay but the bathroom didn't have enough bench space. The room was not clean. There was ants all over the kitchen. I felt the bathroom and pillow covers were not clean. We were only there for few hours after a night out so was not too bothered. overpriced. not advised about holding fee of $50 which has still not been returned to my a account a week later. bathroom a little small - was OK for one night though. no parking. opened bottle of water in fridge. Daily room cleaning should be better. the counter staff on check in was quite rude, staying on the bottom level there were continual noises from the drainage of people having showers and flushing the toilets which went on all night, the bed was broken and sagged in the middle, the shower door was smashed down the edge and didnt close properly so there were concerns there may have been glass on the shower floor, would i stay there again - not if i could avoid it. The staff was condescending and rude upon arrival. No toilet facilities were available prior to being able to check in. The kitchenette was not cleaned properly prior to check in.
