  Laget var bra. Nara till allt - Good location, good price, nice and quiet. - despite the exterior of the hotel (that was not really gorgeous, to be honest), rooms and communal areas are very nice (and new!!)

  My favourite hostel where I always stay in Sydney, probably stayed there for 2 months in total. Location is perfect, staff is friendly, rooms are good and clean in general. Scary Canary is downstares and that is one awesome bar! Always make some great friends when staying at X Base! - Base Sydney is the best! I went to this backpackers twice.   The setting was close to city and easy to walk to central station. The room was in and old style house and was great. The room was spotless and renovated recently. The cost was central budget but quality was excellent. The shower was boiling hot and again clean and spotless. The atmoshepre was great and noise was not an issue.   The hotel staff were extremely friendly. The location was really good and if you're feeling super lazy you can pay 44 dollars for a week long pass for all the public transport in the city centre. The staff worked really hard to try and keep the place clean, shame that was ruined five minutes later by some disgustingly filthy people! - We stayed ... vad folk säger » one night and it was perfect for what we needed.
