  Stayed there 3 nights the reception staff were so helpful the rooms were of a decent size beds were so comfy would recommend a stay there to anyone we will be back in 2 years time !!! - Location was good, it was far enough away from the Cross that there wasn't too much noise around.   it did what i wanted , a cheap clean comfortable room in the middle of sydney, i was well pleased with it , no matter where i go in the world i use travel lodge , - It was a very nice hotel. The room was large and comfortable, maybe the bed was a little bit hard. It was very quiet. Staff was very helpfull.

Overall staying in this neighbourhood is a colourful suburban / urban experience.   Great location, right in front of the metro station and close to bars and night clubs. It's also the red light district of the city, but it didn't bother me. The metro line is the one that goes to Bondi beach and the walk is nice to the city center as well. Hop on hop off tour is very close-by as well.
