Went to see a show at Twin Towns and decided to try this motel which is half the price of Outrigger and was excellent value for money. The bed was so comfortable (and I'm very fussy when it comes to beds) and the position just perfect. Will always book this motel from now on.Also much better views of the ocean than Outrigger Twin Towns. Loved how clean the unit was although it is an older building it was still fresh and comfortable. It is also in fantastic location to everything check in at 12 was perfect as we had a wedding to attend.

We will stay there again in the future. The location was lovely being close to the beach and shops for a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were nice areas to have a cigarette. Easy walking to places lovely staff units clean and nice views.we enjoyed oyr stay made better with great accom and friendly staff. Room was clean and adequately equipped. It was a first class "DUMP" - I have stayed in all kinds of Hotels all over the world and this is by far the worst of the worst ...... Would "NOT" recommend it to even house your family pet ..... Buyer Beware !. The location of this motel is great. Good position. Nothing, except maybe location. Nothing. I requested and paid for an ocean view room. The ocean view was from a back patio which had no furniture to sit on or shelter from wet weather though the view was lovely. Absolutely nothing. Traffic noise and boisterous holiday makers heard clearly inside the room. Shared outdoor areas untidy. leaving. That it will probably be replaced by an ugly highrise don't let that happen. 3 adults were booked in but an extra towel was not provided nor was the 3rd bed, a sofa, made up freshly.I Forgot to let the lady know the next day. A little rundown, cracked tiles and chipped paint etc. But everything worked just fine. The bathroom needs a renovation. Smoking on the verandah outside the rooms. Nowhere to park. Lot of stairs to upper floor. Also problem with fire alarm & fan/light wasn't fixed in the week. smell in room , musty,not fresh but old smell , need paint work loud sounding air con. Very tired and old motel that is obviously having minimal maintenance until it is demolished and replaced with a modern high rise apartment building. Late check in. Needs upgrading very out dated. the place could do with a face lift and the bed was too hard. the hair on the bedside table. No dedicated parking space outside motel to unload vehicle - have to park where you can on the street and carry your bags, maybe some distance. No screens, bars on windows, even up high - dangerous for young children. No locks on windows and key locked door, not very safe. Mould in shower, musty smell in unit. 60 year old building needs some repairs. Would've preferred ground or first floor, but no biggie. No sea views from bedroom. Shower drain smelly. Furniture and outside appearance of building old and run down. I didn't like that the rooms weren't checked before re letting. Ours had no blankets on the bed or available in the room. The lady on duty did get me some when asked but they should of been there to start with. My friends room had an air conditioner that didn't work. That should also of been checked. Mainly poor maintenance and a very noisy motel from other patrons. Would be better suited to backpackers who don't mind. street parking low standard of cleanliness, with the exception of linen uncomfortable beds. Kettle not working. Dirty carpet under beds. It was very cheap and you get what you pay for. There is no on site parking and the facilities very old. The air conditioning unit was very noisy but it had to be left on. No car parking on premises. Toilet bowl leaking onto floor. Fridge freezer fully iced up No power points near bed head. When moved bed closer to far power point there was a baby's napkin under bed. Next morning a dead cockroach was beside bed. No staff in office after 5pm. The motel wasn't worth the rating : dirty, rusty and it was evident that the room had been occupied by a smoker (we are not smokers). Everything. The place needs to be demolished.
